Hmm, according to my analysis, JNJ will go down further.

Sometimes good things come quickly

Okay, looks like market moved in our direction again! Nice pop on the 2 picks, hopefully you took some off the top to keep some of the gains.
- CCJ opened @ $28.75, went as high as $29.65 before closing @ $29.44.
- PTR opened @ $120.05, high of @ $121.67, closed @ $121.41.

Don't be greedy, if you haven't closed your positions, do it by tomorrow.
Have a great weekend, everybody.

Busy

Sorry for not posting anything (I wish I had, looking at the analysis, would've made a ton on my calls!).
Don't think there's much to do for the rest of the week (it's already Wed), but I'll just throw these just for testing -- again it's already midweek, so don't jump on this unless you've done your own analysis also:
- CCJ: $28.23 Up
- PTR: $118.32 Up <- expensive, use options

Ideally we'll need more than 2 days to get the results, but hey let's see.
That's all folks. I promise to give something out early for next week.

Kaching!

Okay, market finally went the way we wanted. Market was bad, but if you notice, the 2 stocks that we predicted would go down went down HARD!
Here's the stats, both predicted to go down:
- CCJ: started @ $27.85 (post on 9/27) closed: $26.41 (10/1), net: $1.44.
- WFR: started @ $17.29 (post on 9/27) closed: $15.70 (10/1), net: $1.59.

The 3 that went the Contrarian route did go down slightly (not as dramatic as the above two):
- CI: $28.31, now: $27.81, net: $0.50
- CVG: $10.09, now: $9.51, net: $0.58
- UNH: $25.34, now: $24.79, net: $0.55

Anyway, I would recommend you close your positions at the end of the week. Not a good idea to hold positions over the weekend.
Until next week!!

Some good trends

Didn't get a chance to do much analysis today, but a quick scan of my report don't show anything significant.
Some update on my original forecast, though.
These two continued their down trend as forecast (2 days in a row now)
- CCJ: $27.85 Down, yesterday: $27.68 Down, actual: $27.42 Down
- WFR: $17.29 Down, yesterday: $16.75 Down, actual: $16.55 Down

The 3 that went the Contrarian route:
- CI: $28.31 Down, yesterday: $29.04 Up, actual: $28.60 Down but still up
- CVG: $10.09 Down, yesterday: $10.43 Up, actual: $10.43 Flat, still up
- UNH: $25.34 Down, yesterday: $25.80 Up, actual: $25.68 Down but still up

I'm going to reveal a little more of my analysis in future postings.

Market swing threw a curve

Well the market turned around and swung upwards. I only did 2 out of 5, horrible. Although I did predict the 2 downs in an up market, pretty interesting.

From yesterday:
- CCJ: $27.85 Down, actual: $27.68 Down
- CI: $28.31 Down, actual: $29.04 Up
- CVG: $10.09 Down, actual: $10.43 Up
- UNH: $25.34 Down, actual: $25.80 Up
- WFR: $17.29 Down, actual: $16.75 Down

So what could I learn? Poring over my analysis from previous post, I noticed a common pattern that explains why the 3 stocks in the middle went up. It's something called Contrarian Investment Theory.

Essentially CI, CVG and UNH these stocks had pretty much all indicators extremely bearish (over 98% bearish), playing very well into the Contrarian Investment Theory. I'll take note of this one for the future.

Another problem, both CI & UNH are in the same health care sector, so they swing together. Next time, I'll try to bucket them together to reflect the shared risk.

First post

This is my first post on this blog. What this blog gives me is an outlet to my research into technical analysis and what it's saying about where certain stocks are predicted to head. I have been studying this field of study for a while and want to see how well my analysis is.
The plan is to publish this every night or every morning before the market starts. We'll see! I hope over time to improve the amount of details and accuracy.
Remember, I don't give any guarantee, these are results of my analysis. Feel free to do your own analysis and judgment call.

- CCJ: $27.85 Down
- CI: $28.31 Down
- CVG: $10.09 Down
- UNH: $25.34 Down
- WFR: $17.29 Down
